Colonnade takes all suspicions or indications of fraudulent activity very seriously and actively seeks to identify and prevent occurrences of unlawful and unapproved conduct utilising the Colonnade brand. Please advise us as soon as possible at whistleblowing@colonnade-insurance.com, if you have any information regarding potentially improper offers, approaches or propositions under the Colonnade name.
Italian Market Fraud
Colonnade has become aware of specific fraudulent activity utilising the company’s name in the Italian market. Potential customers are being offered insurance products, particularly Credit / Surety products, by unauthorised third-party agents which are purportedly underwritten by Colonnade’s Slovakian branch office. We would like to inform you that Colonnade does not currently operate within nor underwrite credit / surety risks in Italy. Potential customers are urgently requested to be especially vigilant when offered insurance products, and in particular credit risk policies, by third parties within Italy which are claimed to be underwritten by Colonnade.
In order to protect consumers and the public, Colonnade has been in close contact with the regulatory authorities in Italy on this matter and has taken legal action to prevent further harmful fraudulent activity.
